In addition to discussions on international security, the British leader will extend an official invitation from King Charles III to US President Donald Trump to visit the UK for a state visit. If Trump accepts the invitation, he will become the first US president to undertake such a visit twice. The last state reception at Buckingham Palace took place in 2019, during Trump's first term.
London's decision to support Kyiv and intensify pressure on Moscow aligns with the overall strategy of the British government to enhance European security and uphold the international order.
