As a result of the massive attack, the equipment at the thermal power plants sustained significant damage. Following the shelling, energy workers promptly began addressing the aftermath and restoring the equipment's functionality."

Details: DTEK reported that in 2024, this marks the thirteenth large-scale attack on Ukraine's energy sector and the tenth attack on the company's energy facilities.

Since the onset of the full-scale invasion, DTEK's thermal power plants have been shelled over 200 times.

Reminder:

• Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko stated that Russian occupiers are conducting a massive attack on Ukraine's energy system.
• Explosions have been reported in Dnipro, Krivyi Rih, the city of Samara, and Kamenskoe.
• Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov reported that the city is being attacked with ballistic missiles. In the Saltivskyi district, three individuals were injured, two of whom are in serious condition. A strike was also recorded in the Kyiv district of the city.
