Britain will provide Ukraine with unprecedented aid: the figures.

The UK Foreign Office has announced a provision of £100 million for humanitarian aid to Ukraine, along with £40 million to support the Ukrainian economy. This information was reported by the department's press service, as conveyed by Interfax-Ukraine.

"The United Kingdom continues to support Ukraine: £100 million will be allocated for humanitarian assistance, including for the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and the Ukrainian Red Cross. An additional £40 million has been earmarked to bolster the economy, which will help unlock millions in private lending to stimulate growth and trade," the statement reads.

As previously stated by the British government, the £40 million economic recovery program will create new opportunities for British companies, supporting key growth sectors in Ukraine and expanding trade and investment prospects.

Furthermore, in the long term, there are plans to launch the TIGER (Triggering Investment Growth and Economic Resilience) program, aimed at reducing the dependency of Ukrainian communities on humanitarian aid and strengthening the country's economic resilience.
