Ukraine's national debt has surpassed 7 trillion.

As of January 2025, Ukraine's state and state-guaranteed debt rose by 87.03 billion UAH, reaching a total of 7.07 trillion UAH.

This is reported by the Ministry of Finance.

As of January 31, 2025, the state and guaranteed state debt of Ukraine amounted to 7.07 trillion UAH, or 168.99 billion USD.

During January 2025, the total state and guaranteed state debt of Ukraine increased by 87.03 billion UAH in the hryvnia equivalent and by 2.93 billion USD in the dollar equivalent.

The external state and guaranteed state debt was 5.14 trillion UAH (72.74% of the total), or 122.9 billion USD; the internal state and guaranteed state debt was 1.93 trillion UAH (27.26%), or 46.07 billion USD.

The state debt of Ukraine stood at 6.78 trillion UAH (95.91% of the total state and guaranteed state debt), or 162.08 billion USD.

The guaranteed state debt of Ukraine amounted to 289.08 billion UAH (4.09%), or 6.91 billion USD.

Reminder:

The total state and guaranteed state debt of Ukraine increased by 1461.3 billion UAH during 2024, and in dollar terms, it rose by 20.74 billion USD.
