On December 25, Ukraine was forced to implement power outage schedules due to a massive missile attack by the Russian army. Energy infrastructure has been damaged. This was reported by the press service of "Ukrenergo."
"Hourly power outages will be in effect until the end of the day," the statement reads.
The company noted that the schedules for the forced application of restrictions in each region can be found on the website and the official pages of the regional energy companies on social media.
"Ukrenergo" reminded that overnight and in the morning, Russia carried out yet another massive missile and drone attack on energy facilities, marking the 13th such attack since the beginning of the year.
"As a result of the damage, consumption restriction measures had to be implemented," the statement said.
Currently, emergency recovery operations have already begun at all facilities where the security situation allows it. Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore the operation of the damaged equipment as quickly as possible, the company added.
