How electricity will be cut in Ukraine on December 26: the answer.

On Thursday, December 26, power outage schedules for the public will be implemented from 08:00 to 21:00. This information is reported by the press service of NEC "Ukrenergo".

The timing and volume of restrictions for residential consumers will be as follows:

• 08:00 - 17:00 - one and a half queues of outages.
• 17:00 - 21:00 - one queue of outages.

Schedules for industry and businesses will be applied from 07:00 to 22:00.

The timing and volume of restrictions throughout the day may change.

Up-to-date information about the outage schedules can be found on the website or the official pages of the regional energy companies on social media.

Note. Consumers in each region who are not part of the critical infrastructure list are divided into 6 queues (groups). The application of restrictions to three queues means that hourly outage schedules apply to half of the consumers in each region. Four queues -limits up to 70% of consumers in each region.

When the regional energy company applies one queue of outage schedules, it results in 4 hours of restrictions per day; two queues mean 8 hours of restrictions, three queues - 12 hours of restrictions, and four queues - more than 12 hours of restrictions.

How to distribute this load throughout the day and the duration of the queues is the responsibility of the regional energy company.
