Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced the implementation of new sanctions against Russia during the summit "Securing Our Future". This information is available on the Canadian government's website.

Canada has imposed restrictions on 10 individuals and 21 entities, including paramilitary organizations and their leaders. These measures aim to counter Russia's use of external structures to achieve political and military objectives in Ukraine.

Overall, Canada has already sanctioned more than 3,000 individuals and entities involved in Russian aggression.

At the summit, Trudeau discussed continued support for Ukraine with international partners, emphasizing the need for coordinated actions in the face of global instability.

"Ukraine's fight for sovereignty is a fight for freedom and democracy worldwide. Today's discussions reinforced our resolve: as members of the Alliance, we will remain steadfast in supporting Ukraine. Canada will stand by Ukraine until a just and lasting peace is achieved. Glory to Ukraine!" – stated Trudeau.

Since the onset of the full-scale invasion, Canada has provided Ukraine with approximately $20 billion in military, humanitarian, and financial assistance.
