The Ministry of Defense has initiated its own production of FPV drones.

The Ministry of Defense has initiated licensed production of modern FPV drones based on one of the state enterprises. This information was reported by the ministry's press service.

It is noted that as part of a pilot project launched in December 2024, the state has gained the capability to produce coded FPV drones.

Under a trilateral agreement, a private developer has granted a license for the production of drones at one of the state enterprises that fall under the Ministry of Defense's management.

The produced items will be supplied to the Defense Forces of Ukraine. After refining the production technology and scaling it up, the state enterprise will be able to independently participate in tenders from the "Defense Procurement Agency" and other potential customers.

Additionally, specialists from the main department of defense innovations of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine have developed a roadmap for organizing similar production alongside other developers of unmanned aerial complexes (UAC).
