This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.

It is noted that now arms manufacturers will be able to receive advance payments for up to 24 months.

According to Gleb Kanevsky, the director of the procurement policy department of the Ministry of Defense, this innovation will expedite payments under long-term contracts with Ukrainian manufacturers.

Currently, there are 17 contracts concerning the supply of long-range missiles, mortars, artillery systems, and armored vehicles.

First Deputy Minister of Defense Ivan Havryliuk emphasized that this decision will facilitate the timely supply of necessary weapons for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Last year, domestic arms manufacturers received over 170 billion UAH solely through Ministry of Defense contracts," he highlighted.
