The National Bank of Ukraine has issued a new commemorative coin titled "Barrier-Free." It was presented by NBU Chairman Andriy Pyshny during the "Business Without Barriers" community meeting held on December 23, with the participation of Ukraine's First Lady Olena Zelenska. This was reported by the regulator's press service.
As mentioned by the NBU, within the framework of the initiative led by First Lady Olena Zelenska, "Barrier-Free," the National Strategy for Creating a Barrier-Free Environment in Ukraine was adopted in April 2021.
The commemorative coin "Barrier-Free" was put into circulation on December 23, 2024. It has a nominal value of 5 hryvnias and is made of nickel silver. The mintage is limited to 30,000 pieces in souvenir packaging.
The commemorative coin will be available for purchase in the NBU's online numismatic product store starting December 24, 2024, as well as through distributing banks.
