The Cabinet of Ministers has extended the deferments for reserved workers until March 31.

This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.

"This will give enterprises time to confirm their status as critically important according to the updated criteria, as well as to re-reserve personnel," Shmyhal wrote on Telegram.

The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko, noted that the government is extending the transitional period for updating the status of critically important enterprises until March 31, while maintaining the current reservation decisions in effect.

"Due to the consequences of Russian cyberattacks at the beginning of the year, we provided businesses with additional time to submit documents for updating critical status and re-reserving employees," Svyrydenko explained.

Applications for the reservation of workers can only be submitted through the "Diia" portal. If an employee has already been reserved, the previous reservation must be canceled before submitting a new application.

How to submit an application through "Diia":

  1. Log in to the portal.
  2. Select the service "Reservation of Workers" and click "Submit Application."
  3. Enter the employees' data.
  4. Confirm their salary level.
  5. Review the application and sign it (the signer must be the head of the enterprise or an authorized person).
  6. Wait for a notification regarding the application review via email and on the "Diia" portal.

The confirmed reservation will be displayed in the "Reserve+" application. If the reservation is made after the update of the critically important enterprise status, it will be valid for up to 1 year.

Criteria for obtaining the status of a critically important enterprise:

  • average salary of employees – at least 20,000 UAH;
  • absence of tax and social insurance debt.
