Trump vows to work towards a peace agreement between Ukraine and Russia.

The team of American President Donald Trump will work on a peace agreement to resolve the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, which, according to Trump, has no parallels since World War II. This was stated by the American leader.

Trump indicated that his team will strive for a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine, noting that even before his presidency, an agreement was reached to halt hostilities in the Gaza Strip.

He emphasized that the war has become a tragedy, the consequences of which are hard to compare with anything in recent decades: “Thousands of people have died, and such a situation hasn't occurred since World War II. Millions of people are suffering in both Ukraine and Russia.”

Additionally, Trump announced the beginning of efforts to end the conflict in Ukraine: “I hope that our actions to achieve a peace agreement have already started. This is extremely important.”

Earlier, it was reported that actual consumer inflation in December 2024 exceeded the forecast of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), and prices in the coming months will continue to rise.
