Ukraine is ready to resume gas transit to Europe, but without the involvement of Russian fuel. This was stated by Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko in an interview with LB live.
“We can restore transit, but Russian gas will not flow through this pipeline,” he emphasized.
According to the minister, there are no concrete proposals from other countries regarding the use of the Ukrainian gas transportation system.
At the same time, Halushchenko noted that there is an alternative for Europe in the form of Azerbaijani gas.
“We are open to negotiations with our neighbors and will conduct consultations. However, it is important that these discussions are held at a professional level,” he stressed.
