In Ukraine, on Tuesday, December 17, for the first time in a long while, there will be no scheduled power outages. Electricity will not be turned off throughout the entire day. This information was reported by "Ukrenergo".
Tomorrow, December 17, the implementation of consumption limitation measures is not forecasted.
However, if the situation changes, additional information will be provided.
At the same time, Ukrainians are being asked to consume electricity sparingly. In particular, they should avoid turning on multiple high-power appliances simultaneously between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM.
Note. Consumers in each region that are not part of the critical infrastructure list are divided into 6 queues (groups). The application of restrictions to three queues means that half of the consumers in each region are subject to hourly power outage schedules. Four queues imply a restriction of up to 70% of consumers in each region.
When the regional energy company applies one queue of outage schedules, it results in 4 hours of restrictions per day; two queues lead to 8 hours of restrictions; three queues result in 12 hours of restrictions; and four queues mean more than 12 hours of restrictions.
How to distribute this load throughout the day and the duration of the queue is the responsibility of the regional energy company.
