Over 4,500 illegal online casinos have been blocked in Ukraine.

In 2024, over 4,500 illegal online casinos were blocked in Ukraine, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Digital Transformation. The Ministry continues to actively combat illegal gambling by identifying and blocking such casinos, as well as countering their advertising. As part of the president's initiative to restrict gambling, the MinDigital team reached out to Apple and Google and set up a fast track with Apple to block the relevant applications.

In 2024, at the request of the MinDigital, the following were blocked:

• 92 apps in the App Store;
• 26 apps in the Play Market.

Additionally, by order of the State Special Communications, 4,460 online casino websites were removed.
