The GDP growth of Ukraine in January reached 1.5%, according to the Ministry of Economy.

According to the agency, the manufacturing industry, domestic trade, and construction continue to show growth. At the same time, a decrease in livestock production has been recorded in agriculture due to rising production costs.

A decline is also observed in the mining sector and transportation. The reasons cited include the shutdown of mines in the Donetsk region located along the contact line, as well as disruptions in electricity supply due to massive missile strikes.

The ministry reminded that in December 2024, GDP increased by 1.7%. The forecast for 2025, as outlined in the budget, is set at 2.7% annually.
