Even though the calendar indicates the end of January, there’s no expectation of snow or frost in Ukraine. The weather forecast for January 28 was published on the website of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
During the night, thermometers will register temperatures ranging from +5 to +3 degrees, while during the day, temperatures will rise to between +6 and +8 degrees. The weather will be cloudy with some clearings, and no rain or snow is anticipated. There will be no strong winds, with gusts only reaching 5-10 meters per second during the day.
The coldest conditions will be in the east—specifically in the Sumy, Kharkiv, and Luhansk regions—where daytime temperatures will only reach 6-8 degrees. The warmest areas will be in the west of the country, particularly in Ivano-Frankivsk, where temperatures may climb to 16 degrees. Similar temperatures are forecasted for Crimea.
In the capital, it will be dry but cloudy with some clearings. Nighttime temperatures will range from +5 to +3 degrees, while daytime temperatures will be between +7 and +9 degrees.
As a reminder, meteorologist Natalia Didenko shared her weather forecast for the coming days and warned of a warming trend up to +16 degrees.
