The Armed Forces of Ukraine will be supplemented by mobilization, not by recruiting volunteers. Recruiting allows for the enlistment of only a small number of fighters, and this must be understood by Ukrainians who are in a state of total war. Ukrainian politician, public figure, writer, and founder of the "Brotherhood" battalion, Dmitry Korchinskiy explained on his YouTube channel how to respond to the "busification" of the Territorial Recruitment Centers (TRCs) and the suggestions to replace mobilization with recruitment.
Korchinskiy stated that the emergence of videos online showing fights with TRC employees is the work of "vanushki," who are trying to discredit the mobilization process. The politician emphasized that in a total war situation, citizens must realize that mobilization is the only way to gather a sufficient number of people for the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF). According to him, recruitment, meaning volunteers, yields a small percentage of new fighters: the overwhelming majority join the army involuntarily.
"There is no other way to staff the military, and there will not be one — just don’t have any illusions — there is no other method than mobilization to replenish the armed forces in a total war. Simply doing recruitment is an absolute lie. Regardless, 95% is always mobilization in all countries, at all times, during total war. It cannot be any other way, whether you like it or not," said Korchinskiy.
He also provided guidance on how TRC employees should act if confronted by citizens. Korchinskiy recalled stories about "busification" and asserted that actions should be taken firmly. Moreover, the politician is astonished by people who, in a wartime situation when TRCs are essentially the UAF, "bully" military representatives.
"I am amazed that we have citizens who can confront the TRC without pain or fear. Any bullying, any misunderstanding must be stopped very harshly on the spot, and that would be very right, and we should demand this," concluded the public figure.
We remind you that on November 11, the Ministry of Defense reported on the area where the highest number of women are being recruited into the UAF.
