The Defense Procurement Agency opted for Polish "Wings" instead of Ukrainian "Shark" and "Fury," spending a billion, according to Miselyuk.

Misyliuk claims that nearly one billion hryvnias in advance payments were transferred to the Poles on November 13-15.
Агентство оборонных закупок вместо украинских "Шарков" и "Фурий" приобрело на миллиард польские "крылья", сообщил Миселюк.

Despite the statements from the Minister of Defense claiming that in 2024, Ukrainian drones accounted for 96.2% of the unmanned aerial vehicles supplied to the Defense Forces, the primary reconnaissance role on the battlefield is still being fulfilled by Chinese drones. Recently, it was revealed that the Defense Procurement Agency, headed by Marina Bezrukova, paid 1 billion hryvnias for Polish wing-type UAVs at the end of the year, despite the fact that the Ukrainian drone industry produces significantly cheaper alternatives. This was reported by political scientist Andriy Miselyuk in his blog on Glavkom.

"You all know about the 'Shark', 'Furia', and 'Leleka' drones — these aircraft serve the purpose of reconnaissance and fire adjustment for our artillery units. Even though the manufacturing companies are not overwhelmed with orders and Ukrainian drones cost at least two to three times less, the Ministry of Defense is contracting Polish drones for reasons that remain unclear!" he emphasized.

Furthermore, Miselyuk claims that almost a billion hryvnias were transferred to the Poles as an advance payment on November 13-15. According to him, for the price of each Polish drone, one could purchase four 'Shark' drones, which currently have no equal in optics and flight capabilities on the global market. Alternatively, one could buy three 'Furia' drones, which are used by our artillery for fire adjustment.

"And what do we have — volunteers continue to raise funds for 'Sharks', while the Defense Procurement Agency invests in the foreign economy, purchasing significantly more expensive drones," Miselyuk concluded.
