"Enemy activity increased": Russian forces have occupied Lozova in the Kharkiv region, according to DeepState (map).

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that enemy troops launched three assaults on Ukrainian positions in the Kupiansk direction; however, they did not comment on the reports regarding the occupation of Lozova.

Russian occupying forces have taken control of the village of Lozovaya in the Chuguev district of Kharkiv region. This was reported by analysts from DeepState.

"The enemy has occupied Lozovaya," the statement reads.

The analysts also updated the combat map. Lozovaya is now in the red zone, indicating that control of this settlement has shifted to the occupiers.

Additionally, according to DeepState experts, the Russians are attempting to advance toward Nova Kruglyakovka.

"After a period of relative calm, there is now increased enemy activity in various areas," DeepState noted.

Meanwhile, the latest report from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine indicated that in the Kupiansk direction, the enemy launched assaults on Ukrainian positions three times in the areas of Synkovka, Petropavlivka, and Zahryzovo.

"Ukrainian defenders repelled all attacks. The artillery was subjected to an airstrike with a guided bomb," the report stated.

At the time of this publication, there was no confirmation from the General Staff regarding the occupation of the village of Lozovaya.

Recall that on December 18, the mayor of Lozovaya in Kharkiv region, Sergiy Zelensky submitted a resignation of his own accord.

On January 3, analysts from DeepState reported that the Russian Armed Forces had occupied four more settlements in Donbas.
