On November 17, the Russian Armed Forces launched a missile strike on a residential high-rise building in Sumy. Eleven people lost their lives, including two children: 9-year-old Ilya and 14-year-old Anastasia. This is reported by Kordon.Media.

"Ilya was a long-awaited child in the family; from the very first days, he fought for his life due to a severe illness. His family did everything possible to ensure he had a happy childhood," the message states.

It is noted that Ilya's father buried his brother last year, who suffered a fatal wound in the war against Russia. The man has three children left, and their uncle is helping with their upbringing.
