A woman in Kryvyi Rih was sentenced after nearly causing a fatal incident while trying to expel someone.

In Kryvyi Rih, a domestic dispute escalated into a stabbing incident, triggered by alcohol intoxication. The victim was miraculously saved. This was reported by "Vidomo," citing "Kryvyi Rih LIFE."

A woman, known for her scandalous behavior, lived with a man, but their relationship was far from ideal. They often argued, and the cohabitant frequently exhibited aggressive behavior.
On one of those conflict-ridden days, the man arrived at her apartment while intoxicated. Not wanting to see him, the woman persistently urged him to leave. However, despite her requests, he had no intention of vacating her residence. At the moment when the man continued to insist on staying, the cohabitant grabbed a knife.

As a result of the ensuing conflict, she inflicted a single stab wound to his chest, leading to serious consequences. The blow was aimed at an area containing vital organs, which could undoubtedly have resulted in tragic outcomes.

The victim required urgent medical assistance, and an ambulance was summoned to the scene. Doctors diagnosed him with a penetrating stab wound to the chest, accompanied by damage to the intercostal artery, a subpleural hematoma, and hemopneumothorax.

According to the forensic examination, these injuries were deemed life-threatening. The court proceedings took place in the Central City District Court of Kryvyi Rih, where the woman was charged with intentionally causing serious bodily harm, classified under part 1 of article 121 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The court found the woman guilty and sentenced her to 5 years in prison, although with a probation period of 3 years.
