A well-known gas station chain paid an additional 140 million in taxes following revelations from the Bureau of Economic Security.

This is stated in the message from the Bureau of Economic Security (BEB).

Law enforcement agencies have not disclosed the name of the network. However, according to sources from the specialized publication YPCOGG in the Office of the Prosecutor General and BEB, it is reported to be "BRSM".

The investigation found that officials of the enterprises from 2021 to 2023 did not report financial and economic transactions with the same contractor in their VAT tax declarations, concealing actual income totaling 435 million UAH and 560 million UAH.

According to the investigation's conclusions, these actions resulted in the understatement of tax liabilities and the failure to transfer more than 140 million UAH in VAT to the state budget.

As part of the criminal proceedings, BEB detectives conducted interrogations, temporary access to documents, and forensic economic examinations, which confirmed the facts of tax evasion.

The message states that during the pre-trial investigations, the damage caused was fully compensated by both entities, and 140 million UAH has already been transferred to the state budget.

The accountant and director of the enterprises have been notified of the suspicion, after which a petition was submitted to the court to release them from criminal liability due to the complete repayment of the damages caused.
