A well-known Ukrainian photographer has been sentenced to 12 years and 10 months in prison for the rape and corruption of underage girls. This information is reported by the Office of the General Prosecutor.
The court found him guilty of rape, corruption of minors, and the production of pornographic materials (Articles 152, 156, and 301 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Additionally, the offender is prohibited from holding positions and engaging in activities related to working with minors for three years.
It was established that between 2017 and 2020, the man repeatedly raped young girls and committed acts of a corrupt nature when they came to him for photo sessions. In court, the photographer admitted his guilt and compensated the victims for the moral damage caused.
Law enforcement did not disclose the identity of the convicted individual. However, media reports indicate that he is the well-known photographer Alexander Ktitorchuk.
In November 2020, it was reported that a 56-year-old man, registered in the city of Vysneve, was detained on suspicion of corrupting minors. He was also found to have filmed sexual acts involving children. At that time, the media reported that this was the well-known photographer Alexander Ktitorchuk.
In 2021, indictments against the man for rape and corruption of minors were submitted to the court. The investigation also revealed that the photographer coerced minors into participating in pornographic "photo sessions" by applying psychological pressure. Later, in 2023, another indictment regarding the commission of sexual crimes by the well-known Ukrainian photographer was filed in court. Overall, the police investigated 18 incidents of crimes related to the rape of minors and the distribution of child pornography.
