The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has reallocated expenditures from the state budget for 2024, allocating 3.8 billion UAH for the funding of the National Cashback program and a one-time payment of 1000 UAH as part of the "Winter eSupport" initiative. This was announced by government representative Taras Melnychuk in the Verkhovna Rada.

Source of Funding

The funds for these payments were allocated by cutting budget expenditures intended for several programs of the Ministry of Economy. People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak highlighted this in his Telegram channel, emphasizing that the Cabinet redirected funding from business support and demining programs.

Reduction of Expenditures in Programs:

99 million UAH — from the program for partial reimbursement of the cost of agricultural machinery and equipment produced domestically.
1.76 billion UAH — from the state support program for investment projects with significant investments.
2 billion UAH — from the program for compensation of expenses for humanitarian demining of agricultural land.

Thus, instead of funding economic and agricultural projects, the specified funds will be directed towards payments to the population under social initiatives.
