When will Zelensky sign the tax increase law? Shmyhal's response.

The laws regarding the state budget for 2025 and amendments to the Tax Code will be signed by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, in the coming days and will take effect on December 1. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.

"The government has already sent a request to the President of Ukraine for the expedited signing of these laws. They are key requirements of our international creditors and are necessary to ensure funding for all expenditure items, including the defense of our state in this and the upcoming years," he noted.

The Prime Minister added that after the signing of these laws, the government will receive additional funds for the purchase of weapons and ammunition, as well as for paying salaries to security and defense personnel.
