Bloody brawl in central Kyiv: a student stabbed two young men (photos included).

In the Pechersk district of Kyiv, a 19-year-old young man, inebriated, initiated a brawl and stabbed two other young men. This was reported by the city police.

In the evening, a verbal conflict arose between two groups of previously unacquainted young men near a shopping and entertainment center. The argument escalated into a fight, during which the assailant pulled out a folding knife from his bag and stabbed a 19-year-old in the abdomen, and his 24-year-old friend in the chest while trying to intervene.

The injured individuals, suffering from penetrating wounds to the abdomen and chest, were taken to the hospital. Law enforcement apprehended the assailant at the crime scene. He turned out to be a 19-year-old student from a Kyiv university who was under the influence of alcohol.

The investigative department of the Pechersk police has initiated a criminal case under part 1 of Article 121 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – intentional grievous bodily harm. During the investigation, the suspect will be held in custody without the possibility of bail. He faces up to eight years in prison under this article.

It is worth noting that in Kyiv region, during a conflict between a civilian and an employee of the TCC, the latter smashed the window of a car. The driver continued driving and fled the scene of the incident.

In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, a retiree caused a scene at a market while buying meat. The man was displeased with the absence of price tags on the products and threw a piece of meat at the seller.
