The Ministry of Defense claims there are no disruptions in arms supplies to Ukraine.

As of today, there are no obstacles in Ukraine to the timely delivery of various weapons and military equipment to the front lines.

This was stated by the head of the Main Department for Defense Procurement Control, Sergey Bulavko, during a briefing, as reported by "Ukrinform."

"Currently, we have no disruptions in arms deliveries. Contracting is underway. We have the financial resources to facilitate this. There are no barriers to the proper, rhythmic, and timely supply of various weapons and military equipment," he said.

At the same time, Bulavko added that 55% of the weapons and military equipment contracted in 2024 will be delivered this year.

"In percentage terms, the financial resources allocated to the agency (Defense Procurement Agency) for transitional contracts from 2024 to 2025, 55% represents the weapons and military equipment contracted in 2024 that will be delivered in 2025. The financial resources planned for 2025 will be used for this," he stated.

Marina Bezrukova appealed to President Volodymyr Zelensky to intervene in the conflict situation surrounding the Defense Procurement Agency.

The supervisory board of the Defense Procurement Agency decided to extend Bezrukova's contract for a year, but the Ministry of Defense refused to approve this decision. Bezrukova was suspended from her position for an official investigation, and Arsen Zhumadilov from the State Logistics Operator was appointed as the acting head.

On January 31, the Ministry of Justice explained the statuses of the leaders of the State Enterprise "Defense Procurement Agency," which have been constantly changing over the past week: Bezrukova is the director of the Agency but is suspended, while Zhumadilov is the acting director.

The National Association of Defense Industry of Ukraine appealed to President Volodymyr Zelensky to intervene in the situation surrounding the Defense Procurement Agency, as its operations are paralyzed.

On January 31, 2025, the Ministry of Defense dismissed Marina Bezrukova from the position of head of the Defense Procurement Agency.
