Ukrainian marines destroyed an enemy armored column near Kurakhove, taking out four BTRs and a tank (video).

Ukrainian marines successfully repelled a mechanized assault by the Russian Armed Forces in the Kurakhove direction using FPV drones and artillery. A video showcasing the operations against a column of Russian armored vehicles was released by the press service of the 37th Separate Marine Brigade on their Facebook page.

The video captures reconnaissance units monitoring the movement of the Russian armored column, followed by our FPV drone operators and artillery units destroying it. Personnel are eliminated by air bombers.

"The enemy continues their attempts to breach the defenses of Ukrainian defenders, deploying all available resources and personnel in 'meat' assaults," the brigade noted.

Analysts from DeepState reported that the repulsion of the mechanized assault by the occupiers occurred east of the village of Yantarne around 12:00 PM on December 29.

According to the analysts, the Russians advanced with one tank and four armored vehicles from the recently occupied village of Uspenivka. Ukrainian drones prevented them from reaching Yantarne.

"They are also trying to advance on Yantarne from Konstantinopil and Sukhi Yalov, but without success. The enemy is currently entrenched in these villages and is gathering forces for further pressure," DeepState reported.

As of 8 AM on December 30, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Defense Forces had repelled 20 attacks in the Kurakhove direction. The enemy was most active near the settlements of Ukrayinka, Slavyanka, Petropavlivka, Dachne, and in the city of Kurakhovo itself.

It is worth noting that on December 29, journalists from The Associated Press, citing Ukrainian fighters, reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine could neither retreat nor counterattack in the Kursk region and were unable to evacuate the bodies of the fallen due to intense fighting.

On December 27, analysts from the DeepState project stated that near Pokrovsk and Kurakhovo, the enemy occupied a village and advanced in eight locations. Reports indicated fighting in Kurakhovo itself and the occupation of several buildings on the western outskirts of the city.
