The Ministry of Justice relaunched its website 20 days after the cyberattack.

On Wednesday, January 8, the Ministry of Justice successfully resumed the operation of its website following a cyberattack from Russia.

The Ministry of Justice announced on December 19 a significant failure in the network infrastructure supporting state registries.

Later, the Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and Minister of Justice of Ukraine, Olha Stefanyshyna, reported that the Russian Federation had carried out a cyberattack on the state registries under the Ministry of Justice's jurisdiction. Their operations were temporarily suspended. At that time, the official website of the ministry was also taken offline.

On December 19, authorities assured that the registries would be restored within two weeks.

On December 30, the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine restored the functionality of three key notarial registries following the cyberattack by the Russian Federation.

On January 4, the state registries system of the Ministry of Justice resumed operations: the ability to register marriages, births, and other civil status acts was restored.
