The Ministry of Justice clarified the status of Bezrukova and Jumadilov within the Defense Procurement Agency.

This is stated in the ministry's announcement.

It is noted that on January 30, a complaint was received by the Collegium for the consideration of complaints in the sphere of state registration from the Ministry of Defense regarding the appeal of the decision made by private notary Ivashchenko N.V. about amending the information on the head of the State Enterprise "Defense Procurement Agency".

As a result, on January 31, 2025, the decision from January 29, 2025, which reinstated Marina Bezrukova as the head of the largest arms procurement agency, was canceled.

The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine made the decision to correct a technical error in the Unified State Register, as a consequence of which

• Zhumashev A.K. acquires the status of representative of the State Enterprise "Defense Procurement Agency" with the limitation: "temporary execution of director duties during the official investigation".
• Bezrukova M.V. retains the status of head with the limitation: "suspended from the performance of official duties during the official investigation"

Reminder:

On January 25, following the relevant decision of the Ministry of Defense, the director of the State Logistics Operator Arsen Zhumashev became the head of the Defense Procurement Agency. The previous director of the agency, Marina Bezrukova, reported pressure and illegitimacy of such a decision.
