The Ministry of Justice has successfully resumed the operation of the first state registries that were damaged as a result of the Russian cyberattack on December 19. This was reported by the ministry's press service.
Starting Monday, December 30, the Unified Registry of Powers of Attorney, the Inheritance Registry, and the Unified Registry of Special Notarial Document Forms are back in operation.

"Notaries can now fully carry out the registration of powers of attorney, wills, and inheritance cases, as well as verify special forms. All notarial actions performed without access to the registries will be recorded within five business days," the statement said.
The ministry assured that it has strengthened cybersecurity measures to prevent a repeat breach of the registries.
