Kryvyi Rih police have submitted an indictment to the court against a woman who killed her 10-year-old daughter in the summer of 2024. This was reported by "Vydomo" citing the National Police of Dnipropetrovsk region.
The woman contacted the police on June 20, claiming her daughter had allegedly gone missing. More than 50 law enforcement officers, volunteers, dog handlers, rescuers, and cadets were involved in the search for the missing girl. The police reviewed footage from surveillance cameras, interviewed relatives, neighbors, and potential witnesses, and scoured the area using a drone.
Based on the investigative activities conducted, law enforcement determined that the girl had fallen victim to a crime, and her mother was implicated in the murder. On June 15, during a quarrel, the woman brutally killed her daughter.
To conceal the crime, the suspect placed the girl's body in a suitcase, transported it to a summer house, moved it to the cellar, and covered it with concrete.
The suspect was informed of her charges for the intentional murder of a minor under paragraph 2 of part 2 of Article 115 and for knowingly providing false information regarding the commission of a criminal offense under part 2 of Article 383 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
