In Dnipropetrovsk region, a hacker was fined 34,000 hryvnias.

The "young talent" made just over two and a half thousand by creating a malicious program.
В Днепропетровской области хакера признали виновным и оштрафовали на 34 тысячи гривен.

A sixteen-year-old resident of Kryvyi Rih has found himself at the center of a high-profile cybercrime case involving the hacking of accounts on the popular Ukrainian automotive portal, Autoria. He was a novice in this field and acted with intent. This was reported by "Vidomo," referencing the Ternivka Court of Kryvyi Rih.

The perpetrator's journey into the world of cybercrime began with visits to the specialized hacker forum "zelenka.guru," which, as revealed during the investigation, serves as a platform for exchanging experiences and, unfortunately, for selling malicious software. On this forum, he established himself as a fairly skilled malware developer.

His specialization became the creation of programs designed to hack websites, which demonstrates his understanding of web application principles and likely a certain level of programming skills.

The accused developed malicious software named "autoria_checker." This program was specifically created for unauthorized access to user accounts on Autoria. It is important to emphasize that this is not merely a classifieds website, but a platform where sensitive user information is stored, including personal data, phone numbers, email addresses, and more. Hacking such accounts could lead to serious consequences, ranging from financial losses to identity theft.

For his "services," the young hacker received a reward of 2,633.69 hryvnias in cryptocurrency.

The Cyber Police of Ukraine responded swiftly to the situation and exposed the criminal. Considering his minor age, sincere remorse, and positive references from his educational institution, the Ternivka Court imposed a relatively lenient punishment – a fine of 34,000 hryvnias.

Previously, we reported that hackers attacked the Nikopol RDA page on Facebook.
