In Dnipropetrovsk, a man set fire to a friend's car over a debt dispute.

In the Kamensky district, police reported suspicions against a man for setting fire to a friend's car. This was reported by "Vidomo," citing the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk region.

The crime occurred in the territory of the Verkhndneprovsk community on September 25 during curfew. Law enforcement officials established that the suspect traveled to a neighboring village where his acquaintance lived, with whom he had a long-standing conflict over a debt. In the yard of the house, he noticed a parked vehicle used by the victim. After igniting a bottle filled with a flammable substance, the perpetrator threw it towards the vehicle and fled the scene. As a result of the fire, the car was completely burned.

Police identified a 37-year-old resident of the Kamensky district as being involved in the crime.

The individual has been formally charged with committing a criminal offense under part 2 of Article 194 (intentional destruction or damage to property) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
