Investigators in Dnipropetrovsk have sent a case to court involving a man who stole from his neighbor. This was reported by "Vidomo," referencing the National Police of Dnipropetrovsk region.
Taking advantage of the fact that the 46-year-old homeowner had gone to sleep, the suspect removed computer equipment and a mobile phone from his house.
The crime occurred at the end of October in the town of Petrykivka. Law enforcement discovered that a fellow villager had visited the victim. Seizing the opportunity while the 46-year-old homeowner was asleep, the suspect stole computer equipment and a mobile phone.
The police located the 37-year-old man. Part of the stolen items was recovered by the authorities.
On November 12, investigators informed the man of the suspicion under part 4 of article 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (theft committed in large amounts or under conditions of martial law or emergency situations). Currently, the indictment against the suspect has been sent to court for a decision in accordance with the current legislation.
