In Dnipropetrovsk, a schoolboy was sentenced for a series of car thefts.

In Ternovka, a ninth grader has been held criminally liable for a series of car thefts that took place last spring. His acquaintance, who involved him in the theft, is currently awaiting sentencing. This information is reported in court documents, as conveyed by "Vydomo," referencing "Behemoth".

In May 2024, the minor conspired with his acquaintance to steal items from cars parked in the courtyards of Ternovka.

On May 5, around 11:30 PM, they left their apartment and walked through the streets of the city, equipped with containers of 5 and 6 liters, and a hose to steal gasoline from vehicles. In this way, they siphoned off 5 liters of A95 Energi gasoline worth 279.95 hryvnias.

The minor also broke the lock of a car and stole a battery valued at 1859 hryvnias.

Immediately after this, the perpetrators approached a parked "VAZ-212140-111-30" vehicle, taking advantage of the fact that the trunk door was not locked, opened it, and stole a set of "INTERTOOL" combination keys worth 361 hryvnias, as well as a car battery valued at 1800 hryvnias.

At 1:00 AM, near house 23 on Heroes of Ukraine Street, the criminals approached a parked "VAZ-2105" vehicle and stole 10 liters of A95 Energi gasoline worth 559.90 hryvnias.

At 1:45 AM, the thieves approached a parked "VAZ-21053" vehicle, taking advantage of a malfunction in the driver's door lock, opened it, and stole a "FORSE" car battery worth 2175.30 hryvnias.

During the court session, the accused stated that he agrees with the type of punishment that will be applied to him.

The court found the minor guilty of committing a criminal offense under part 4 of Article 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and sentenced him to 3 years of imprisonment, applying Article 69 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Based on Articles 75 and 104 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, he was released from serving his sentence, provided he does not commit a new criminal offense during the one-year probation period.
