Naftogaz has commenced drilling at a new oil field.

Public Joint Stock Company "Ukrgasproduction," part of the Naftogaz Group, has launched a well at a recently discovered field. This information was reported by the company's press service.

The daily output reaches 170,000 cubic meters of gas, with a depth of 4,202 meters.

"The new well has been drilled in the central part of the field, and we plan to drill another one by the end of the year, along with four more next year," noted the Chairman of the Board of NJSC "Naftogaz of Ukraine," Oleksiy Chernyshov.

Since the beginning of the year, this is already the 15th well at this field.

It is worth mentioning that gas prices in Europe have reached a one-year high amid warnings of possible supply disruptions from Russia.
