Ukrainians will receive their first payment from the "National Cashback" program between October 22 and 31. A total of 37.2 million hryvnias will be distributed, accumulated from purchases made in September. This information was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy.
Funds will be credited to citizens who made purchases of Ukrainian goods, with cashback amounts exceeding 2 hryvnias in September. According to the results for September, there were 646 thousand such consumers. Others either did not receive cashback or it was less than 2 hryvnias.
The Ministry of Economy noted that a prerequisite for receiving cashback is the activation of the card for payments in the Diia app. Those who have done this will receive their accumulated cashback for September in October. Those who have not activated their payment card in Diia, which amounts to over 300 thousand consumers as of the end of September, can still do so. The funds will not disappear and will be paid out in November.
The cashback received will not be subject to taxation. The corresponding law has been adopted by the Verkhovna Rada.
You can spend your cashback on utility services, medical expenses, transportation, and more. Alternatively, you can donate to the Armed Forces of Ukraine or purchase military bonds.
