A fatal accident involving five vehicles occurred in Kiev region. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the area on November 27.
The accident took place around 10:42 AM on November 27 near the village of Peskovka. A total of five vehicles were involved in a collision on the Kyiv-Kovel highway.
According to preliminary information, a 67-year-old driver of a Nissan attempted to overtake, lost control, and crashed into a Ford Transit armored vehicle. This led to a collision with three trucks — Volvo, Ford, and GAZ.
The police reported that the Nissan driver died from injuries sustained in the accident. Investigators from the Bucha police department have opened a case regarding violations of traffic safety rules or vehicle operation that resulted in the death of the victim.
It is worth noting that on November 27, the SBU announced the detention of five individuals who organized a terrorist act near the police district department in Zhytomyr. One law enforcement officer was injured as a result of the explosion.
