Ukrainian defenders delivered a "final swim" to the Russian Armed Forces at the Kurakhove direction. This was reported on November 19 by the press service of the 46th Separate Air Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which released footage from the battlefield.
"Nights at the Kurakhove direction are intense for our comrades. Intense — in terms of combat operations. For the enemy, however, they are hellish. In terms of the path to where the occupiers and monsters belong," the brigade noted.
The enemy "naively hoped" that under the cover of darkness, 15 soldiers would be able to silently cross the river in rubber boats and land from the city side. However, the invaders were doomed.
Ukrainian aerial reconnaissance spotted the enemy's advance. At that point, the drone pilots held their fire and began showering the occupiers with "gifts."
"The boats, of course, were torn to shreds. And the unfortunate ones who managed to paddle ended up 'getting it' on land. They will never paddle again and will not trample our land," the press service reported.
We remind you that information has surfaced on social media suggesting that the Russian Armed Forces may be preparing to strike Ukraine with a new RS-26 "Rubezh" missile. It is noted that the launch could be carried out from the Astrakhan region.
