The New Year 2025 has prepared many surprises for Ukraine, and they won’t take long to arrive. Meteorologist Natalia Didenko has shared a detailed weather forecast for December 31.

Weather Forecast for January 1

The weather on the first day of 2025 will resemble early spring. During the day, temperatures are expected to range from +5 to +9 degrees, while in the south, it will be even warmer — from +9 to +12 degrees. No precipitation is anticipated.

The spring-like atmosphere will be enhanced by wind, with western gusts reaching up to 15-20 meters per second. Didenko urged caution.

In Kyiv, nighttime temperatures are forecasted to be from +1 to +3 degrees, and during the day, from +5 to +7. There will also be no snow or rain in the capital. However, residents of Kyiv will feel gusty winds, sometimes reaching strong gusts of 15-20 meters per second.

Warming and Cooling: Weather Forecast

On January 2, it will get even warmer in Ukraine. Thermometers in the regions will register temperatures up to 9-14 degrees Celsius.

However, the meteorologist reminded everyone that it is still winter according to the calendar. By January 3-4, she predicted "frosty cooling."
