Fighting with Russian forces continues, but the Ukrainian Armed Forces have not confirmed the occupation of Lozova in the Kharkiv region.

As of the morning of Tuesday, January 7, fighting was still ongoing in the village of Lozovaya, located in the Kharkiv region. The Operational Command "Khortytsia," responsible for this area, did not have any information regarding a potential occupation of the settlement by Russian forces.

In the village of Lozovaya in the Kharkiv region, fighting continues with Russian troops. This was stated by Viktor Trehubov, a representative of the operational-strategic group of troops "Khortytsia," in a comment to "Suspilne."

He noted that the OSGV does not have information regarding the capture of the locality to the east of Kruglyakovka by the occupiers, although he emphasized that the situation at the front is always dynamic.

Referring to the morning report, the military official mentioned that fighting was ongoing in Lozovaya on Tuesday morning, January 7.

"We rely on the reports we have. I believe they are more objective and timely than those from unofficial sources," Viktor Trehubov stated.

Additionally, the spokesperson of the OGUW shared that the intensity of fighting in the Kupiansk direction is lower than in the southern section under "Khortytsia's" responsibility.

"The Kupiansk direction is currently not the most critical area among those in our zone of responsibility. There are several attacks daily. The Russians are attempting to infiltrate across the Oskol River in small groups and build up their forces there," Trehubov explained.

It should be noted that based on a video shared by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, regarding the movement and destruction of Russian military equipment, analysts from the DeepState group reported that the Russians have occupied the village of Lozovaya and are attempting to attack in the direction of Nova Kruglyakovka.

The General Staff does not confirm nor deny the occupation of Lozovaya. According to a statement from the agency, four attacks by the occupiers occurred in the Kupiansk direction over the past day. Defense forces repelled enemy assault actions near the localities of Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Topolia, and Zahryzovo.

Recall that Ukrainian forces have begun a new offensive in the Kursk region, with combat operations ongoing at three sections of the front around Sudzha.

Meanwhile, Russian troops are advancing in Donbas, aiming to break through to Pokrovsk and occupy Toretsk.
