How do Russians use conflicts in social media?
The technology is simple and well-known. It involves reflexive management using monitoring systems and bot farms.
Monitoring tools search for posts that have the potential to escalate conflicts among Ukrainians. In Russia, there is "Kribrum" and its analogs.
Posts identified by monitoring are sent to bot farms, which engage in commenting. Each topic has its own guidelines.
This is why comments from closed accounts appear in posts about Hanukkah. They have learned to translate comment texts.
Humorous posts about "пекельні борошна" and "розповіді вчительці" stem from not using chat GPT or DeepL. Because both translate very well.
"Літак мить" is likely a product of Google Translate, which is still quite weak.
Why do Russians create conflicts? They do not create them; they exploit them. Conflicts arise on their own. They simply amplify the signal — "pouring oil on the fire," inciting further tension.
As the war progresses, conflicts among Ukrainians will increase because since around 2023, we have been searching for an internal enemy. Specifically, the term "уклонист" appeared online a year ago (as shown by Google Trends).
Internal enemies are referred to as relocants, draft dodgers, the wealthy, Russian speakers, those from Donetsk, MPs, residents of Kyiv, Western Ukrainians, and similar groups.
They pay particular attention to the activities of the TCC. That is, when an event occurs — a person is pulled from a car and doused with gas — this event is amplified in social media.
If the event had not occurred, it would not have been amplified.
It is logical that they have also reached Hanukkah. Because there is always room for conspiracy theories.
Of course, in addition to conflicts in social media, there are TikTok bloggers and Telegram channels. These simply transmit texts aimed at distributing hostility towards Ukrainians.
A certain number of people perceive hostile texts as their own thoughts and then propagate them further (spreading the virus), including on social networks.
The goal of reflexive management is to change perspectives, shift focus, and swap truth with lies.
They amplify negativity.
More emotions lead to less rationality.
In other words — to sow discord among Ukrainians.
