Russia is conscripting Ukrainians from occupied territories, and the treatment in the enemy army is shocking, according to GUR (video).

Illegally mobilized citizens have reported instances of severe hazing. The abuse has escalated to the point of grenades being detonated in barracks.

Mobilized by Russia residents of temporarily occupied territories are suffering from severe hazing. The situation of Ukrainians in the Russian Armed Forces has been reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense.

According to the "I Want to Live" project, just in the autumn of 2024, 30 residents from the occupied territories of the Kherson and Zaporizhia regions were conscripted into the occupation army. They were sent to serve in one of the military units in Crimea.

It has now become known how the Russian Armed Forces treat those who have been unlawfully mobilized. Serjeants assigned to Ukrainians are individuals from the Caucasus. Intelligence has reported that they "stir up interethnic hostility," systematically beat their subordinates, and even detonate training grenades in the barracks. They create "intolerable living conditions" for the residents of the occupied areas, forcing them to witness the conduct of namaz — the daily five-time prayer of Muslims.

In addition to the humiliation, Ukrainians are also poorly fed. The unlawfully mobilized individuals have complained about "worse than prison" food, which is also insufficient.

The GUR emphasized that from October 31 to December 31, 2024, Russia unlawfully mobilized around 300 men from the Zaporizhia and Kherson regions. The agency highlighted that this draft is yet another war crime by the Kremlin. However, there is a chance for the occupation army to be left behind, with assistance from the "I Want to Live" project.

As a reminder, on February 4, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Russian soldiers deserted from several forward positions in the Kupiansk direction.

On February 4, Russian forces launched ballistic missiles at Izium. The Kharkiv Regional Military Administration reported that there are fatalities and dozens of injuries. The missile partially destroyed administrative buildings and damaged a five-story residential building.
