Russian state television "proudly" showcased an infantry fighting vehicle with additional "armor". This was reported on social media platform X by OSINT researcher Special Kherson Cat, who shared a screenshot of the occupiers' equipment.
This vehicle, as has been revealed, is located in the Chasiv Yar area. The occupiers, having equipped the BMP with a "grill" made from metal sheets and welding bundles of steel wire onto the visor, hope that this "furry" canopy will increase the likelihood of premature drone activation. Additionally, the Russians covered the rear and front of the "grill" with steel wire, and attached rubber screens to the lower part of the BMP's body.
Let us remind you that the Russian army has been installing metal superstructures on its equipment even before the onset of the full-scale invasion. Due to such armor, the Russian Armed Forces' tanks have been referred to as "turtles" or "shacks."
