By the evening of January 7, Russian occupational forces launched strike drones of the "Shahed" type towards Ukraine. This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"Drones in the northern part of Chernihiv region are moving south," the message stated at 21:53.
Subsequently, the Air Forces began reporting on new drones flying in various directions, specifically mentioning:
The last report on a new group of "Shaheds" was made by the Air Forces at 22:55.
"A new group of strike drones in Sumy region, heading west," the message indicated.
Additionally, that same evening, the Air Forces warned about the activity of enemy tactical aviation, as well as the launches of guided aerial bombs on Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, and Donetsk regions.
At the time of publication, there was no information regarding casualties or damages resulting from the Russian attack.
Recall that on the night of January 6 to 7, Russian Armed Forces launched "Shaheds" across seven regions of Ukraine.
On the night of January 3, the Russians attacked Ukrainian cities with 81 strike drones.
