Ukraine ranks last in Europe regarding IQ levels. This is stated in the ranking on the International IQ Test portal.
It is noted that the intelligence quotient of Ukrainians is 95.55 points, which is 1.29 points higher than last year.
The top five countries include China, Iran, South Korea, Japan, and Singapore. It is important to mention that Russia is in sixth place with an IQ of 103.31 points, while Belarus ranks 16th with an IQ of 101.58 points.
The study is based on data from 1,393,066 individuals worldwide who took the same test on this site in 2024. In 82.45% of the countries, IQ scores are similar to those of the previous year. Some countries were excluded due to a lack of data.
Overall, it is noted that the average IQ is higher in East Asian countries. It is close to the average in Europe, Western Asia, Oceania, North America, and North Africa, while it is lower in Central and South Africa and Latin America.
The average intelligence level in Ukraine is 100 points. Several factors may influence this:
"In summary, it can be said that countries with robust healthcare systems that promote healthy eating habits and encourage their citizens to engage in activities that stimulate intellectual development tend to have a higher average IQ among their populations," the portal noted.
0 1There are also doubts regarding the reliability of Poland's ranking, which placed 40th in the world with an average IQ of 99.45. This figure is slightly below the average level for Europe, writes the publication Poland Insider.
Following the release of the International IQ Test results for 2024, a genuine "spam war" erupted on the platform. Russia seized upon this news and began creating multiple accounts to falsify test results, with usernames containing insults directed at Ukraine appearing on the main page.
In response, Ukrainians created accounts with insults against Russians. The popular site transformed into a stream of spam messages and mutual insults for several hours, the publication indicates.
2The site may be defending against spam traffic and blocking similar mass IP addresses, excluding fake accounts from the statistics. However, there are no official guidelines or clarifications on this issue.
Considering all factors, it can be concluded with a high degree of certainty that most accounts were either paid for or created using free methods, analysts conclude.
Recall that earlier a ranking of world cuisines was published, with Ukrainian cuisine ranking 44th among them.
