Starting January 1, the cost of processing certain documents in Ukraine has increased. What are the new prices?
Starting January 1, 2025, the cost of processing ID cards, passports, and both temporary and permanent residency permits in Ukraine will increase. This was announced by the State Migration Service of Ukraine.
The increase is due to changes in the pricing of biometric document forms implemented by the State Enterprise "Printing Plant "Ukraine".
New Document Processing Fees
Ukrainian citizen passport in the form of an ID card:
- First issuance — free of charge
- Up to 20 working days — 558 UAH.
- Up to 10 working days — 928 UAH.
Passport for traveling abroad:
- Up to 20 working days — 1042 UAH.
- Up to 7 working days — 1682 UAH.
Residence permit:
- Permanent residency — 1175 UAH.
- Temporary residency — 1080 UAH.
Citizens who manage to pay for administrative services and submit applications for document processing by December 31, 2024, will receive them at the old rates.
However, if the application has not been submitted but the services have already been paid for, an additional payment will be required according to the new rates effective at the time of application submission.
