Top job openings from the Ministry of Defense: discover the salaries being offered.

In 2024, nearly 3,000 job openings in the Defense Forces were posted on the "OLX Work" website, attracting around 30,000 applicants in total.

This is stated in the analytics from OLX, which is available to EP.

Among military specialties, the most sought-after positions by candidates were for drivers, shooters, UAV operators, commanders, and medics.

A significant level of interest in job postings for service in the Armed Forces was observed in densely populated regions such as Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Kharkiv, and Lviv regions.

Job openings in air defense units, FPV drone operators, and cooks received the highest number of responses.

The average salary offered for these positions was 70,000 UAH, 60,000 UAH for air defense roles, and 35-36,000 UAH for instructors and accountants.

OLX notes that since the second half of 2024, there has been an increase in demand for job postings from specific military brigades. For instance, thanks to the platform, one of the units was able to fully assemble a group of UAV operators.
